Do others of you have the feeling that cats can actually talk? I don't mean in their own 'catty' language, but in human language when their vocal capabilities allow them to enunciate a word.
Like 'ham' and 'mom'. It's freaky! I've taken to calling The Cat 'Little Soul', because I'm pretty sure she's more human than I. [Even though I don't really believe in my own soul....] |

I'm of the opinion cats are retarded, I know I know, they're just free -spirited and they just do what they want to do, not what you want them to do, but so do retards, and wind up toys

Well, that's not inconsistent with what I observe: that cats are smarter than I am. They might be retarded, but they're smarter than I am!
Plus, it doesn't answer my question: even retards can talk! Are cats talking retards?
